Model "J" – 2" - 4" Inline ESV (50 - 3,000 PSI) Flanged or Threaded

This is a self-contained switching valve. This valve senses differential pressure across a filter or positive displacement meter and switches flow at a set differential pressure to a new filter or meter from a clogged filter or locked meter. This means flow is not interrrupted, yet all fluid flow proceeds downstream.

Additional advantages of using Buckling Pin ESV's are as follows:

• No yearly valve testing.
• No required replacing of pin yearly due to fatigue. (The pin is not subject to fatigue since
.....buckling always occurs before the elastic limit of the pin is reached.)

• There is no set pressure variation with ambient temperature change on the pin.
• There are few size limitations to the ESV. (So far, the 12" high pressure ESV is the largest

.....in all designs, the precise pin is the sensor and actuator.)
• The standard accuracy is +/- 5%. (Reliability can be tested in place under operating pressure.)
• Buckled pins can be replaced in minutes.
• Replacement pins are relatively inexpensive and, if ordered from the factory before noon,
