Model J-B & J-A
Low-High Pressure ESV Combination

Model J-B Low Pressure ESV
Model J-A High Pressure ESV
2" - 12" Inline Check Valve Type ESV
50 - 6,000 PSI
Flowing Pressure Only
150# - 2500# Flanges

Additional Advantages:
• You get safety without venting
..
pollution.
• No product loss by venting.
• No flare system required.
• No yearly valve testing.
• The pin obeys Euler's Law precisely
..and cannot fatigue.
• There is no set pressure variation
..with ambient temperature change
..on the pin.
• The precise pin is the sensor and
..the actuator.
• The standard accuracy is +/– 5%.
• Buckled pins can be replaced
..in minutes.
• The pin cannot fatigue

Model J-B & J-A Low–High Pressure ESV Combination
The Model J-B and J-A low-high ESV system is a combination useful to isolate the upstream flow by sensing upstream pressure. The low pressure ESV closes at set pressure when a downstream line break occurs. The high pressure ESV closes at set pressure to protect downstream equipment from excess pressure. The valve combination features simplicity, reliability, setting accuracy and advanced system protection. The system can be pigged through.

The low pressure ESV is usually the upstream valve to prevent its closing if the high pressure ESV closes.
